In the UK we welcome nurses from all over the world. Search the NMC website for the report about competency testing for overseas nurses. Consultus is a nursing agency providing live in nurses. As such there is no guarantee of work, plus we are the sole nurse caring for the client. My advice would be to seek employment in a hospital setting initially. You would have the support of a team and learn more about NHS services and practice. Across London there is shared NHS accommodation available. You would have your own bedroom and share a kitchen and bathrooms. The rent is subsidized and low priced compared to renting in the private sector. Good luck
